Made to the same exacting standards as our signature chef’s knife, each blade is forged from 67 layers of Japanese Damascus steel for incredible sharpness that glides through any protein.

Forged blades comprise 67 layers of Japanese Damascus steel for a harder blade – a 60+ Rockwell rating.
Meticulously hand-sharpened by craftspeople using the three-step Honbazuke method – a sharpening process that results in a super-sharp, 12-degree edge.
Stunning green Pakkawood handle – infused with resin to increase resistance to cracking – is contoured for amazing comfort and grip.
Steel bolster and full hybrid tang construction improve balance for a more controlled cut.

Cleaning

Hand wash with a gentle dish soap that is free of bleach or citrus extracts. Rinse and towel dry immediately.

In addition, damage resulting from dishwasher use, knives left soaking/standing in water, not dried immediately after washing, or use in a foodservice setting is not covered by this warranty. The following conditions are not covered by our lifetime warranty: dulled blades, pakkawood handle damage, rust, discoloration, and bent/broken/chipped/snapped knife blades.
