Premium Cookware Brand HexClad Announces Partnership With Clare Smyth MBE

24 April 2024 | HexClad, one of the world’s fastest growing cookware brands - known for its signature hexagon design and hybrid construction - is delighted to announce its partnership with Clare Smyth MBE, the internationally acclaimed chef of three Michelin-starred Core by Clare Smyth. Sharing a mutual appreciation for refined elegance, innovative design and an unprecedented commitment to quality, Clare will be instrumental in supporting product innovation, curation of award-winning recipes and participation in key brand initiatives and events for HexClad.

As a key brand ambassador, Clare joins HexClad’s ‘Culinary Council’, a curated list of internationally renowned chefs led by global culinary icon Gordon Ramsay, along with  Paul Ainsworth, founder of Cornwall’s Michelin-starred Paul Ainsworth at No6, Nancy Silverton, co-owner of Mozza Restaurant Group, Dominique Crenn, owner of three Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn, and Asia’s Best Female Chef Award Winner, owner of private dining restaurant été, Natsuko Shoji.

Co-Founder and CEO of HexClad, Danny Winer comments, “We are extremely honoured to welcome Clare into our HexClad family. For years I have strongly admired Clare’s incredible culinary talent, meticulous attention to detail in the kitchen and passion for the hospitality industry - her values perfectly align with the ethos we share at HexClad. As one of the world’s most respected chefs globally, I am really looking forward to working together on a very exciting 2024.”

Amongst a number of prestigious kitchens worldwide, Clare trained under HexClad Partner, Gordon Ramsay, for 13 years. In August 2017, Clare opened her debut establishment, Core by Clare Smyth, to critical acclaim. In January 2021, Clare became the first and only British female chef to be awarded three Michelin stars for her Notting Hill-based restaurant.

Clare shares her thoughts on the collaboration, “My passion for sourcing quality doesn't just stop at produce, it extends into everything I do, including what cookware I use. Being able to officially champion HexClad and their incredible products is a natural step for me and I’m excited and proud to be associated with the brand. Their pans elevate the cooking experience for the professional and home cook alike and I can't wait to see what's next.”

Clare has achieved many accolades throughout her career including the title of World’s Best Female Chef 2018 by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In 2013, she was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to the hospitality industry. She also plays an active role in mentoring new talent and young chefs through her involvement in the Bocuse d'Or UK and S. Pellegrino World's Best Young Chef Competition and Academy.
